Privacy policy for Garnet applications
The Garnet Shopify App ("the App") provides integration between Shopify Store ("the Site") and Garnet Marketplace for merchants who use Shopify to power their stores. This Privacy Policy describes how personal information is collected, used, and shared when you install or use the App in connection with your Shopify-supported store.
Garnet Marketplace App permissions
When installing the Garnet Marketplace app, we use the following Shopify scopes to read and write the marketplace's Shopify data:

Personal Information the App Collects
The App acts as a conduit for data synchronization between your Shopify store and your designated Garnet Retail Platform account, for the purpose of centralized management of product information, inventory, and order fulfillment. You must have a valid Garnet Marketplace subscription for the App to operate. When you install the App, we are automatically able to access certain types of information from your Shopify account:
Product Data, Customer Data, Inventory Data, and Order Data.
Garnet collects the relevant data from your Shopify store only if you explicitly set up the data synchronization from your Garnet account.
How Do We Use Your Personal Information?
We use the personal information we collect from you and your customers to provide the Site and to operate the App.
Sharing Your Personal Information
We may share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant, or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.
If you are a European resident, please note that we are processing your information to fulfill contracts we might have with you (for example, if you make an order through the Site) or to pursue our legitimate business interests listed above. Additionally, please note that your information will be transferred outside of Europe, including to Canada and the United States.
Data Retention
When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information or your Garnet Retail Platform subscription has expired.
Changes
We may update this privacy policy from time to time to reflect changes to our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons.
