Review and approve

It is important for the marketplace to view and approval all products one-by-one. Sometime the vendor introduces a typo or a blurry image and it needs to be corrected in order to have a trusted currated marketplace.

Approve one listing

Once a vendor has submitted a product, it will appear on the right side of the product view.

• On the left side, you see what the vendor has submitted.
• On the right side, you see what is live on the marketplace.

In our case above, the vendor has submitted a product, and the marketplace still needs to approve it.

Quick price/stock update

Vendors can quickly update the item's price and stock by clicking the price or stock number. As price and stock updatea do not need approval, the update is instantly reflected in the store.

Edit a product before review

The marketplace or the vendor can click on edit product submission to update the product. Once ready to be published, the marketplace can approve the product. Within a few seconds, the product will be published on the live website and can be purchased by customers.

Approve to update a live product

A live product has an accurate description on the right side of the product view.

If the vendor updates the product submission or if the marketplace updates the product in Shopify, then the marketplace can approve the product again.

To approve it, click at the top right Approve.

Fast approval

When the marketplace has a lot of products to approve, Garnet has provides a fast approval feature to simplify the task. To get started, click Garnet > Listings > Review

Then the marketplace can click Approve and next to quickly approve the product and display the next one.

Approve in bulk

When the vendor data's quality is trusted, for example when the data comes from a Shopify integration, the marketplace can approve even more rapidly without looking at the listings.

Price and stock updates do not require approval

Price and stock updates are essential for the vendor. If they are delayed, they will lead to out-of-stock or loss-making sales. That's why any price or stock update submitted via Garnet will automatically be approved and update the marketplace's live product.

Auto-approval

Vendors can be marked as auto-approved following Admin Panel > Switch vendor > Your vendor > Auto-approval.

When turned on:

• All updates submitted via Garnet will automatically be approved
• All submissions received via integrations will be approved hourly
• If a submission contains errors, it will stay in the pending approval state.
