Vendor Approval

By default, any vendor can register and create and account using the registration form. Once a vendor has an account, they can start submitting products to the marketplace.

The behavior might not be suited for some marketplaces that are looking to bring quality vendors on board. If that's your case, you can enable the vendor approval step in Garnet > Admin panel > Registration fields.

Approval workflow

Without the approval workflow:

1. Vendor fills out the registration form
2. The vendor and the marketplace are notified
3. Vendor can submit listings to the marketplace

With the approval workflow:

1. Vendor fills out the registration form
2. The vendor and the marketplace are notified. The vendor is in a pending approval state.
3. The marketplace opens its email, reviews and approves the vendor
4. Vendor can submit listings to the marketplace

The displayed fields can be customised in the registration fields settings.
